Pancake Day?

Hope you've all had a flipping good day.

Here is a fact for you!

Why do we eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday?

For Christians, Shrove Tuesday marks the day before lent, and is the last chance to indulge yourself, and to use up the foods that wasn't allowed during Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were all forbidden during Lent!

Speaking of Pancakes, what do you like to have on yours? I normally opt for golden syrup. Yummy, but may occasionally go for chocolate sauce, squirty cream and Bananas, which are equally as appetising
